The Concert
Oh man…that was an awesome concert. I think they did a damn pretty good job! I can’t believe I’m already up! It’s not even 9! I think it’s cuz the adrenaline from last night is still pumping through my veins. I’m like…so not *yawn* sleep ready. I need to tell people dude! God…my legs are sore. No, I did not go into the pit. You think I wanted seats? HELL FUCKIN’ NO! *sigh* We had to sit in seats though. Oh man, to have been in the pit, you had to sign this waiver. *hehe* That was too funny. I was like, just let me in damnit! Deadsy was pretty good actually. They had a lot of fuckin’ bass. Their singer sounded like the singer from Orgy, I swear to you, he did. Lalala, they were good. Puddle of Mudd came on, and well…when I recognized a song, I thought they were good. : ) Like…when they did their singles, the place kinda lit up, more people got life to them. Other than that, you were like, huh? What the hell are they singing? Ehh, it’s an okay song, I’ll listen. They did pretty good.
Jamey, Mike, and I all got shirts before the concert started. After Puddle we went to the bathroom and got something to drink. Lol, there was this guy who was walking past, and I guess he said, “high five?” and held out his hand to me. I looked at him kinda weird, cuz I couldn’t hear him! And I went, “Huh? No.” Cuz I thought he had said, “Money?” Lol, so he like was all, okay, whatever, and this other guy that had been standing next to Jamey and I was like, “That was mean.” And I was like, “Yeah, but I didn’t fuckin’ hear what he said!” I dunno, we talked for like a minute, and then he left with the people he was with. After that, I told Jamey that we should really go get back into our seats. I did NOT want to miss the beginning of Korn’s show.
When we got back to our seats, Jamey and I had taken off the shirts we had been wearing, and changed into our concert t’s. I was just sitting there going crazy. Me…see…Jonathan Davis? No…fucking…way… That’s all I could do! And then when they turned off the fucking lights, I screamed so loud! Hehe, along with like 3/4 of the entire building. Omg…they played this video thing up on the lil screens that they had before they came out of like a kid trying to run away from something or someone. Omg…when they came on stage, it was fuckin’ crazy! They opened with Here to Stay. (I think they should have opened with Blind…it would have worked better.) Then they played Twist/Chi, and then I do believe A.d.i.d.a.s. I can’t really remember from there the order, but lets just say that they played every single single they had ever released. So, if you are a Korn fan, you can go through their cds and figure out what ones they are. If you’re not, here…Blind, Faget, Shoots and Ladders, A.d.i.d.a.s., Twist/Chi, Freak on a Leash, Dead Bodies Everywhere!!!!!, Got the Life, Falling Away from Me, Make Me Bad, Somebody Someone, Here to Stay, and Thoughtless. Oy…they played other songs too, I don’t want to list them though. :P The entire place was sooo filled with smoke, despite the fact that the bitchy security guards were trying to stop people from smoking anything. Oh god. The energy in that building was so awesome. It was so fucking hot though! Omg! I had to put my hair up. Okay…I PUT MY HAIR UP! That only happens like 2-3 times a YEAR. I rolled up my pants to my knees, and rolled my shirt sleeves up. I was still fanning myself though. It was so fuckin’ hot…just so fuckin’ hot.
From what I could see of the mic stand, it looked really cool. When they had the camera thing on Jonathan when he was up by it, you could see it better. It was really sweet looking. His mic stand was crafted by H. R. Giger specifically for him, so yeah, it was cool looking. It was really really shinny, lol. Oh! Oh! I liked how they did Freak on a Leash. I liked the lil lights, and how they showed cuz of all the smoke, and just…it was cool.
When they left the stage towards the end, like half of the people lit lil lighters, and everyone was still screaming and shouting and everything. And like, prolly 3-4 minutes they came back on…well Jonathan did…with his BAGPIPES! AHHHH! It was so awesome! He came on on the back of the lil walk around thingy that they had set up, so, he was behind the drum set where the ever so hot David sat. he had changed into a lil kilt thing *hehe* it was cute. Ahh! He played Shoots and Ladders then. AHH! It was so awesome! Ahh! He played his bagpipes. Oh man…then a guy took them off : ( After the opening bagpipe part. And they sung that song…and then they did Got the Life…and like, I just thought IMMEDIATELY of Paige, because she has this obsession with when he says “forgive no” but she says it like “forgiveno” as one word. Hehe…that was so cool. Toward the end they started having this sparkly shit fall from up above…and the lil lights were like strobe lights…and that was the last song…and it was really depressing. Cuz I didn’t want to leave, it was so awesome. It was funny when he said, “It’s been a long time, but it’s nice to know there are still fans that fucking love us.” I’m like, shit monkey, yeah!
Oh man…thanx Mike! Thanx Chad! Oy, Chad is a hottie! Mike’s cousin Chad…phew! H-O-T boy! Yeah, yeah, yeah, he’s 28, but still…he was HOT. When we got back into the car, we put on none other but Nine Inch Nails baby. Oh yeah, and we listened to the Downward Spiral all the way home. *sigh* It was so much fun. I couldn’t hear…my legs hurt…I was over-heated…my throat hurt from screaming so much…but god…it was fun. It was a lot of fun. I wanna see them again!
